After Thanksgiving

Wheeeew  another Thanksgiving has gone by.  It was a great day, lots of people and the kids behaved!!!!  My sister in law didn't get drunk and they were only and hour late!!  So all in all a great day.

The kids were moved upstairs all the toys and Wii were up there instead of down in the family room.  This was the best idea my brother ever had.  A total of 5 boys ages 8 - 3 so can you think of the noise??  Ooooooh and these boys love to fight, like it's "death match" its kind of funny to watch.  But it always ends up with someone crying.  Oh well they were pretty
 good the entire day.

So, last night I attended the 1st of this seasons Hollidazzle Parade.  It was a perfect night about 30 out so not too cold.  Target was the BIG one in this parade.  The floats are all from story books (Children's) and made from Christmas lights.  Fun to see The Wicked Witch of the West in green and black lights!  Dorthy's shoes were full of red lights. 

So, on to another weekend.  Nothing planned except putting up Christmas stuff.  My son is still into Nutcrackers (unknown why) but he loves them!  So this year his new one is a Pirate one.  I am just trying to figure out how to pay for my class I'm taking this winter.  I'm sure I'll figure it out!  Ooooh I started to use Skype I LOVE IT!!!  What fun!!!

Week 1 of Blogging

Okay, so it's been week one of "Blogging" I kind of think of it more of my journal. This week I had my 38th Birthday. Not much went on that day it was a good day. My "Party" is going to be on Sunday (22nd) with my family which includes 2 of my 3 brothers and their wives and kids. Should be good and loud which I ALWAYS love. So year 38 has to be better then year 37. Not that year 37 was bad it's just I didn't expect I'd be where I am at this time in my life. I have HIGH hopes for year 38!!! Let's hear it for getting OLD!!!! Woooooowhooooo!!!

Just another Tuesday....What?

Okay so Tuesday started out better then Monday did at least the waking the child up in the morning. He behaved and did what he was suppose to do. Hmmmmm makes me wonder. I had my 2nd Logic Exam today. I completed it with 5 min to spare. Not sure how I did but what can I do about it now? NOTHING. I've written 2 papers for my other class so I'm all set.

Nothing too exciting happened today. A friend of mine from class had let me know that she was somewhat attacked by Turkey's this morning. She was forced to hide in her car. I though it was funny, however there was a story on the news about a person being attacked by Turkeys and they got hurt. Who knew?! I guess it's best to just stay away from wild turkeys.

Another Monday

So, it's another Monday. Big Whoop who cares? Well I guess kids today do. I have such a struggle to get my 8 year old up in the mornings. Not just Mondays (they are the hardest) but most days in the week he is just no fun. Is this just a boy thing? or do girls do this too? I was always a morning person so I don't remember being difficult in the mornings but who knows. Anyways not that anyone is reading this so I'll just go on. So I get myself up and ready before I approach the sleeping demon. Once I get him up after lots of kicking and yelling (btw he goes to be by 8:30 and up by 7:30 so it's not like he doesn't get plenty of sleep.) he does fall out of bed. Now getting dressed in something fun to watch if you have the time. It's pull off the pajama's pants ooops the underwear when with them so now I've got to think hmmmmmmm do I put them all back on? Or just the underwear. Then comes the YELL "MOM DO I NEED TO PUT ON NEW UNDERWEAR?" we do this everyday. He puts on new underwear each night but he'll ask every morning. I'll yell "What do you think?" he'll then say "I don't know" I'll say well why don't you just go without like you did one time and see how it goes again" He didn't like that response. By time he gets downstairs it will have been 15 min. HE'S 8 it should take like 5 min to get dressed. By time it's all said and done before he has to walk out the house for the bus it will have taken him almost an hour to get ready for school. AHHHHHHHH!

Sunday Football

Well, it's another Sunday which means FOOTBALL. I like to watch football, however I won't watch just a random game. It has to be for example my home team. (Vikings) I can get into the game and yell and scream for my team, but to just watch any team is something I can't do. So how is it that some people can just sit and watch ANY game that is on TV? I mean are they really watching it? Or are they just telling others they are watching the game so they can get out of doing something else? (yard work?) I'm not naming names AT ALL. I can say that as of today November 15, 2009 I can call the Vikings the Vikings and not call them the "Queens" but the season isn't over and somehow when it comes down to winning the Vikings seems to lack it!
