Okay, okay its been way too long since I've written anything on here. Not that anyone is reading it.
I've been doing a lot of thinking...life....things. 1st the dating world sucks! It sucks the big one! I've think I've had it......for a while on dating.
2nd I'm changing my major.....yes I'm 30 (something) and I'm trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Well I've decided I can no longer work with people with disabilities. I did for over 11 years and I'm either burned out or because of my husband's mental illness I just can't do it anymore. So I'm going into Criminal Justice. Now, now I've thought about this a LOT! I hope to become a Probation Officer. I think I've got the street smarts for this type of position. I worked with several PO's with my past position and had a feel for it. Now I just have to get my act together of what is all required for this new goal. It will take time since I'm paying for school myself but I'm going to get it done. So now I've said it and I'm going to continue to move forward from this day on. Wish me luck! Okay if the "right" guy comes along I might give him a chance.
I'll try and do better by putting more thoughts into my blog.
PS-I met a guy and he told me that I was attractive enough to pick up guys, however I'm not approachable anyone know what that means? Just wondering.......

HI LaNay! I feel a bit "stalkerish" as I was the only comment on your last post and here you just post this and....here I am again!! :) I have wondered how you have been doing and check in when I get a chance to see if you have left a new post.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you have found a direction you would like to go...and now GO FOR IT! I think it is wonderful you know what you want and more importantly what you DO NOT want in life.
Also, knowing where your priorities lie. Good luck to you on your new direction...also good luck in the "dating game"...that honestly can NOT be fun!! Interesting: "attractive but not approachable". Well the attractive I understand, and all I can think about for the "not approachable" is cautious and particular (and rightly so!!!!)
